Public Safety Officer
Salary: $86,272 - $99,871 annually
The City of Sunnyvale is recruiting for the position of Public Safety
Officer I (Lateral). The Public Safety Officer I (Lateral) is a sworn
training position. Incumbents participate in field training for
police work, attend a fire academy and perform other related work, as
required. Incumbents must successfully complete field training and a
fire academy to promote to Public Safety Officer II.
The City of Sunnyvale provides an excellent benefits package,
including 9% City-paid Employees PERS contribution and the 3% at 50
retirement plan. A complete application packet consists of a City

current California Basic POST Certificate.
