Reporting to the Sanitation Program Manager, the Sanitation
Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily activities
of Sanitation Department staff and ensuring the proper sanitation of
all equipment. Primary responsibilities include:
* Report all daily sanitation related issues on the Daily Supervisor
Report.
* Monitor daily production to sanitation and sanitation to
production turnover times.
* Report ATP and Pre-Operation Inspection results.
Coordinate sanitation of salad, apple and dried fruit processing
areas.
* Conduct chemical inventory once per-week.
* Coordinate Master Sanitation clean up.
* Randomly conduct Safety and GMP audits during sanitation process
daily and report audit deficiencies to management.
* Conduct SSOP compliance audits daily. Constantly walk the floor
during sanitation process time to ensure sanitation process
compliance.
* Ensure that all sanitation personal follows proper safety, food
safety, GMP and sanitation cleaning procedures.
* Provide all sanitation documents to QA administration assistant
daily.
* Schedule and conduct weekly GMP tailgate meeting with all
sanitation employees.
* Establishing and maintaining a positive work environment within
the Sanitation Department.
Qualified candidates will have at least three years of related
Sanitation experience, strong knowledge of sanitation processes and
equipment as well as a solid understanding of good manufacturing
practices, food safety guidelines and MSDS. This is a heavy labor
position. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to lift
50+ lbs and be able to perform other functions such as standing,
walking, sitting, twisting and carrying objects for at least 8-10
hours per day.
Candidates must possess superior interpersonal skills, a sense of
urgency, and the ability to work in a team based environment as well
as independently. Solid proficiency in MS office suite programs
required. Bilingual English/Spanish a must. Must also be flexible
with schedule and have the ability to work PM and weekend shifts in
addition to overtime as required. This position is also required to
relocate to Yuma, AZ during the winter growing season, typically
November thru April.
Please note: working conditions include a cold and wet environment
(34-36 degrees F), the smell or chlorine, outdoor weather
conditions, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noises.
