Marketing Coordinator Position
Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will coordinate and implement marketing
communication projects and research for an accomplished capital
equipment manufacturing company. This position is responsible for a
wide range of advertising and other customer interface related
activities. The Marketing Coordinator will utilize written and
graphic communication skills and a basic understanding of a variety
of electronic component and photovoltaic solar cell manufacturing
processes to market company equipment to customers worldwide.
Job Duties:
•Compose content and coordinate efforts regarding technical product
brochures, press releases, tradeshow displays, advertisements, and
company website.
•Use Google analytics and other web metrics programs to monitor and
maintain search and content competitiveness of company website
•Conduct market research to provide statistics or other information
for use by sales personnel and in guiding product development efforts
•Compose technical Powerpoint presentations about company equipment
•Assist with creation of training and sales materials for
international and domestic sales representatives
•Prepare status reports on marketing efforts
•Assist sales team with customer related activities including
attending tradeshows as booth support and responding to customer
requests for information.
Must be willing/able to:
•Travel approximately 15% worldwide
•Study and understand basic technical process and product information
•Communicate diplomatically, effectively, and promptly in writing and
orally with customers and sales representatives worldwide
•Collaborate effectively with company sales and engineering staff to
meet marketing requirements.
•Independently and consistently seek and perform activities which
contribute to company sales success
•Take a well-organized approach to multiple, complex, concurrent
tasks
Required Background:
•Bachelors Degree in technical field, marketing, advertising, or
public relations
•3+ years of marketing experience, to include developing and
implementing marketing programs and materials
•Facility with technical subjects
•Familiarity with website maintenance
Desirable Qualifications:
•Experience with photovoltaic cell processing industry
•International travel experience
•Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of
equipment manufacturing field
