CHW Medical Foundation (CHWMF), established in 1993, is affiliated

Completion of an accredited medical assisting program; phlebotomy
certificate; current CPR; good customer service, written & verbal
communication skills; 1 year back office MA experience preferred.
Room patients including taking vital signs, patient complaints,
removal or application of dressings. Administer injections under
provider direction. Call in prescriptions under provider direction.
Recognize and respond to acute emergency situations following
established procedures. Provide appropriate instructions to patients
based upon provider direction. Transport patients onto mobile beds
or wheelchairs. Prepare and transport items such as medical
equipment and laboratory specimens. Clean and disinfect
instruments/equipment according to standardized procedures. Keep
rooms well stocked and cleaned. Call back labs and x-ray reports
with provider direction. Documenting patient concerns, patient
messages and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical
record for the physician's review.
