Description
Director of Sales position with responsibilities to manage the
entire sales team including but not limited to our inside sales
staff, Outside Representatives, and Reps through motivation,
training, and leadership. The ideal candidate should have a Telecom
background and be ready to report directly to Senior Management.
This candidate will also be expected to do the following:
1. Ensure the sales team hits the corp sales goal on a monthly basis
2. Travel as necessary
3. Be responsible for targeting new accounts, setting meetings and
business development
4. Plan, schedule, and attend trade shows.
5. Work with the engineering team on product development and
projects on behalf of the sales team.
This is a full time job and the following experience is required:
1. Must have managed at least 5 staff directly
2. Must have Telecom / Network Hardware background / Telecom
infrastructure knowledge
3. Must have reported to Senior management and been integrally
involved with Executive staff
4. Must have been responsible for all sales reporting and forecasting
5. Working Knowledge of CRM systems: Salesforce a plus
8. Must have been a Dir. Of Sales or comparable for at least 3 years
7. Must have managed Outside Sales Representatives
Bachelors Degree in a related field preferable, but not required.
Work History may be substituted for Education.
Training
Product and application training is provided.
Pay
Aggressive compensation program including base plus
commission. Westek Electronics provides a benefits package for
